Dinosaurs: The myths, the legends and the facts
Part of the Collection Bites series of lunchtime talks
Dramatic depictions in film and popular culture, as well as past scientific guesswork have led to exaggerated and dramatic interpretations of the lives and the extinction of dinosaurs.
In a family-friendly talk, Jennie from the Visitor Team will take a critical look at how dinosaurs have been portrayed and compare this with an evidence-based, but still roar-some understanding!
Collection Bites is an adult programme, however the content is suitable for all ages. The talks are approx. 30 minutes. They take place on the first Wednesday of each month in Manchester Museum’s Research Studio on the Second Floor (accessible by stairs or lift).
Please note: Tickets are very limited. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your booking through Eventbrite, or email museum@manchester.ac.uk to let us know, so we can offer your place to someone else.
