Museum Lates: Youth Takeover
With Pinc College and Manchester Climate Change Youth Partnership
The Museum Late on Wednesday 27 March will be a night of youth-led programming, championing diversity and climate action, led by Pinc College students and members of Manchester Climate Change Youth Partnership.
On the Top Floor, Pinc College students mark Neurodiversity Week by sharing a collection of artworks celebrating the power of seeing the world through a neurodivergent lens. Taking inspiration from graphic novels, the students have created work which champions the power of diversity and shows why everyone’s strengths should be celebrated in our society.
Then, in the Kanaris Lecture Theatre and Research Studio, join the Manchester Climate Change Youth Partnership to explore youth climate action. They’re hosting a pop-up exhibition, interactive long-table discussion and climate-themed Museum trails.
This family-friendly evening promises a light-hearted atmosphere, infused with a powerful call to action. Together, let’s celebrate youth voices, embrace our toughest challenges, and collectively shape a hopeful future. Your presence matters!
Join us for an evening that encourages dialogue, fosters a sense of community, and provides opportunities for future participation in the fight against the climate crises.
The evening will provide opportunities to:
- engage with others in the climate discussion;
- educate yourself on climate and justice related topics;
- empower yourself and others to take action on climate change.
Suitable for people of all ages, this event will provide additional opportunities for those aged 16-28 to join the ever-growing Manchester Climate Change Youth Partnership.
