Learn to Play Open day
with Olympias Music Foundation
Olympias Music Foundation (OMF), an award-winning music charity based in Manchester, is proud to invite you to our Open Day on Saturday the 29th of July on the top floor of the Manchester Museum. Come and join us between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm on the top floor of the museum to explore the world of music.
OMF champions diversity in music, and we believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to participate in music. Our Open Day is aimed at parents of children aged 6-16 in Manchester, with a special focus on those who are either on free school meals, some form of income support, or are refugees or asylum seekers.
At the Open Day, children will get the opportunity to try out a range of instruments including violins, cellos, flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and euphoniums under the guidance of our talented OMF teachers. There will be information available about our ‘Learn to Play’ programme and other projects, such as our community choirs. You’ll also have the chance to sign up for free music lessons for your children.
This event is free to attend and we look forward to seeing you there!
