Manchester Museum Celebrates Eid
In partnership with UoM Parents, Carers and Guardians Network, Dishoom and Educate Against Islamophobia
Experience the joy of Eid al-Fitr during a fun-filled day of family activities, workshops and food.
Following on from the official celebrations, our own festivities will give you the opportunity to find out more about Eid and revel in the atmosphere of this very special occasion, observed by Muslims across the globe.
You’re all welcome to come down and get involved in a series of fun activities, organised in collaboration with the University of Manchester Parents, Carers and Guardians Network, Dishoom and Educate Against Islamophobia.
Enjoy storytelling, get your own henna design or find out about Muslim heritage, while savouring delicious chai and sweets.
We’re also collaborating with Meet Your Muslim Neighbour, who’ll have a stall in the Museum throughout the day, providing information and further reading.
