Nepali everday objects and belongings
Come along to our first-ever event celebrating Nepali culture, heritage, and arts.
This event, entitled Nepali Everyday Objects and Belongings, is jointly organised by Manchester Nepali Samaj and our South Asia Gallery.
It will feature a temporary exhibition of everyday items and artefacts representing Nepal’s regional, cultural, social, religious, and ethnic diversities. It will also include Nepali cultural performances, children-friendly activities, a photo exhibition, and more.
Schedule
11am – 4pm Temporary exhibition of Nepali everyday and household objects
11am – 4pm Exhibition of photography by Nepali photographers, story-telling, audio-visual displays, and an open mic session
1pm – 3pm Family-friendly activities and Nepali cultural performances, including dancing, singing, music, yoga and a DJ set
