Poetry Night
Our Shared Cultural Heritage
After 3+ years, we are celebrating the work of the Our Shared Cultural Heritage ‘kick the dust’ project with a week long series of events across two cities, Manchester and Glasgow, focusing on information-sharing, creative interventions, tours and panel discussions led by the Manchester Young Collective and the Glasgow Changemakers.
Come and join the Our Shared Cultural Heritage Collective as they host an evening of spoken word at Manchester Museum. Performers will share poetry centring around topics of identity, representation, activism, race etc.
Please note, videography and photography will occur at this event, although audience members can opt out of appearing in the content that will be captured.
As this event is in person, and spaces are limited, please only register if you are sure you will be able to attend. Trigger warnings will be shared prior to any performances necessary.
Refreshments will be provided during the event.
Doors open 6pm, event starts 6:30pm.
