Wild Walks
with Manchester Museum and Grass Routes Movement
Walk on the Wild Side. Join us for a wild walk around Manchester Museum and the University of Manchester to discover new green spaces and hidden walkways.
As we wander, we’ll enjoy a backpack full of fun questions for a wild quiz!
This Wild Walk will be led by Grass Routes Movement, a Manchester-based community interest company that creates activities with and for marginalised people to break down barriers to urban and green spaces, to connect with the outdoors and access opportunities to explore and experience joyfulness through movement.
Meet at Manchester Museum, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL Three words: jazzy.johns.pens
This ongoing series of walks organised as part of our Wild exhibition encourages you to explore Manchester’s hidden wild areas. Each walk will include a chance to get up close to nature, meet new people and explore themes of wildness in our city. Uncover the nature, wildlife and wild place on our doorstep.
