Artists have shaped ideas of wilderness in many cultures, the salon in WILD explores what shapes our ideas of Wild. Join us for plasticine painting and an opportunity to create your own wild scape.
Monday 12 to Friday 16 August
What’s wild to you might be different for others. What do you consider the most wild of creatures? Play with clay and create your own wild creature, real or imaginary.
Monday 19 to Friday 23 August
You’ll explore different Wild landscapes and ideas of wild in our exhibition including Wild Manchester. Join us this week as we imagine a future Wild Manchester, what would it look like?
Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 August
We learn and borrow from nature, and nature shapes our world in many different ways, including by inspiring fashion. Join us for this wild prints activity and create your own printed patterns inspired by nature.
Meet the RSPB at Manchester Museum to hear more about their conservation work, and the many different ways you can support their important work.
Come along and see them at the museum this summer and where they’ll have great FREE hands-on activities that celebrate nature.
